BIOPHILIC HOSPITALITY, WELLNESS & REGENERATIVE TOURISM

Designing Destinations that Restore People, Place & Planet

Thursday, 22 October 2026

ABSTRACT

The future of hospitality is increasingly shaped by wellbeing, ecology and regeneration. IDC005A explores how biophilic design, regenerative tourism and nature-integrated approaches are transforming resorts, retreats and destination experiences.

Bringing together international practitioners working across architecture, neuroarchitecture, bamboo design, hospitality, wellness and biophilic design, this conversation examines how natural systems, sensory experience, material choices and ecological thinking can create destinations that restore both people and place.
